At Piksel Bayt, research and product development are carried out by the same team. The individual who studies a method in the literature and implements it also evaluates its behaviour in the production environment.
Working practice
Given the team structure, each member holds direct responsibility for their own area of work. Field performance of delivered solutions is monitored by the team. Working on publicly funded R&D projects makes academic writing and scientific method part of the role.
Required qualities
Alongside domain knowledge, analytical approach and methodological rigour take priority: a working discipline that investigates the cause behind a result and avoids assessment not grounded in measurement.
